Explore St. Andrews, Fife & Dunfermline Abbey
Leaving Edinburgh we head to north towards Queensferry and the Forth Bridges, where you'll get the chance to take a photo of two of the most remarkable bridges in the world, the Forth Rail Bridge built in 1890 and it’s much younger neighbour, the Forth Road Bridge.

We'll cross the River Forth, and have our first stop at the magnificent Dunfermline Abbey, burial place of King Robert the Bruce. Here you'll get the chance to photograph his ornate golden tomb. You'll also have the opportunity to wander around the Abbey, its grounds and see the results of the “reformation”, a time when churches were destroyed and desecrated, supposedly in the name of God.

Next, we'll pass Carnegie Hall, where Andrew Carnegie, the world famous philanthropist was born. We continue on along the Fife coast and the charming little fishing villages of the 'East Neuk', stopping in Anstruther, an old Herring stronghold where you may take the opportunity to try 'the best fish and chips in Scotland' or have a snack at the Fisheries Museum.

Then we'll continue on to St. Andrews, home of golf, religion and of course St. Andrews University. Spend up to 2.5 hours in this historic and beautiful town. When the weather is nice the beach is a particularly popular choice or you can enjoy the intriguing 16th-century tunnels beneath the Castle.

If you play golf you may want to visit the grave of Young Tom Morris, the Golf Museum, the Links Course putting green, or simply walk along Grannie Clark’s Wynd.
