Take a Trip to Ancient Corinth
The tour departs from Athens and we'll head west along the scenic coast until we reach the stunning archeological feat - the Corinth Canal, where we will stop for a short time to take in the sights.
A short drive brings us to the ancient town of Corinth, once one of the richest cities in the known world.
Here we will have the chance to visit the remains of the huge old marketplace, called 'Agora', and impressive Apollo’s Temple. Ancient Corinth was the home of the Apostle St. Paul for two years and it was here that he wrote the 1st and 2nd Thessalonians (AD 52).
Following our visit to Corinth, we'll make a brief stop at the ancient port of Kechreai before heading back to Athens.
