Naples

Naples is a dream destination for many history buffs - and there's good reason for that! Just a little outside of Naples you can visit two ancient Roman towns, Pompeii and Herculaneum. Both towns were devastated by the cataclysmic eruption of Mount Vesuvius over 2000 years ago.
